Despite being very mobile, moving several miles up and down the coast around Chapel Point, this 3rd summer (moulting to 4th winter) Audouin's Gull did occasionally settle long enough for birders to catch up with it and for some to obtain excellent photographs as it rested on the beach before another feeding foray out to sea.

Red-footed Falcon, Derbyshire
Four fabulous shots of the female Red-footed Falcon near Ingleby in Derbyshire by Glyn Sellors. Although there has been quite an influx of these beautiful birds into the UK, it does seem to be far less than the remarkable record-breaking invasion of 1992... much to the relief of Birdnet's pager operatives!
