Four fabulous shots of the female Red-footed Falcon near Ingleby in Derbyshire by Glyn Sellors. With unusually large numbers of Red-footed Falcons passing through northeast Spain and southern France followed by an influx of these smart falcons onto the Dutch coast, many birders are hoping this spring will be a repeat of 1992. This female at Pugney's Country Park is hopefully one of a handful of forerunners with plenty more on their way! Photos by Glyn Sellors.

It's Dotterel time, and their traditional stopping site at Pendle Hill in Lancashire has once again proven itself to be perhaps Britain's most reliable site away from the Scottish breeding grounds. Four excellent photos here by Glyn Sellors.
Four more photos by Glyn Sellors of this spectacular adult Ross's Gull near Fairhaven Laken on Saturday 26th May.
